After an early life spent playing rugby and painting I went on to study art at Oxford
University’s Ruskin school of Fine Art and Drawing. In the years that have followed
I've worked as a sculptor, lectured in art schools and worked in galleries.
For the last 15 years I've worked in the games industry, most recently as art director
at Sony Cambridge.
Following more than a decade in which I have worked exclusively and
enthusiastically with the computer I’ve recently begun to paint again. It’s a return
that is in large part explained by a growing feeling that, for all its utility and power,
the computer is limited by the very qualities that make it so exciting.
This site contains some samples of the work I have begun to make. It will grow
and change so I encourage you to return to keep an eye on developments.
