The imagined figure, usually male and naked, has been a persistent interest of mine, not least because in the absence of any particular model the constructed body adopts the characteristics of a symbol and the articulation of anatomy becomes as much a game of meanings as it is a play with weight and posture/balance. I enjoy that game.
