People falling over, collapsing or colliding is as funny as it is, at times, tragic. Outside of cartoons and modern dance it's not often dealt with and hardly ever in painting. But the absurdity of a sudden loss of control and the transformation of the body into so much meat seems to me interesting enough to merit attention.

These paintings are part of an ongoing series that seek to redress the balance
